Core Custom Firmware Capabilities
1. Custom Cloud Provisioning
We modify camera firmware to connect directly to your private OWS-style cloud platform for zero-touch device provisioning. Cameras can be pre-programmed to register, authenticate and report status to your cloud server on first boot.
2. Permanent Unique Device Identity
Burn immutable device identity into firmware. The unique ID cannot be erased or overwritten after manufacturing, ensuring stable asset management for large-scale deployments.
3. Disable Physical Factory Reset Function
We can remove or lock the hardware factory reset trigger. Once provisioned to your cloud, end-users cannot reset the camera back to factory default via physical button, improving system security and preventing unauthorized re-binding.
Technical note: This customization requires firmware patch and GPIO control modification. We will evaluate hardware limitations before project kick-off.
4. ONVIF & RTSP Streaming Support
Cameras retain standard ONVIF discovery and RTSP real-time video stream. Your vision platform can pull H.265 video stream, PTZ control, motion & sound detection events without custom decoding work. Compatible with most VMS software.
5. Secure Encrypted Firmware OTA Updates
Custom encrypted OTA upgrade pipeline. Firmware packages are signed and verified before installation to prevent tampering or malicious firmware flashing. You can push firmware upgrades via your own cloud server.
